The Dome Kiosk Is Ready To Set Your Summer Sales On Fire!

Monday, February 14th, 2011

Just as quickly as we posted last Friday about that stubborn Old Man Winter and how hard areas of the country were being hit this year by one winter storm after the next, Mother Nature heard our cries and delivered to the South one of the prettiest warmest weeks we’ve had in a very long time. We know this warming trend won’t last and that more than likely the last snowflake has yet to hit the ground, but at least a little bit of the claustrophobia that so many of us have been dealing with as we sit and watch foot after foot of the white stuff pile up in front of our windows has subsided. Still though that itch is there for warmer temps. For days spent on the back porch grilling steaks, tossing the football, and listening to tunes. Adventure is calling as families begin the ever important debate on where should they go this Spring and Summer.

For those vendors who make the majority of their money traveling from one outdoor festival to the next serving everything from deep fried Oreos to homemade freshly squeeze lemonade, the time to plan for the coming warm weather has also arrived. Outdoor kiosks need are unique in that they need to be sturdy enough to survive high winds, triple digit temps, and provide enough room to maneuver around in as you try to serve 50 salivating people all at the same time. Oh and it wouldn’t hurt if they remembered who you were once they got their steak on a stick and headed towards the main event.

The Dome Kiosk is everything an outdoor vendor needs and more. Its unique shape not only stands out in peoples mind but also provides you with tons of counter space, plenty of room for storage, enough shade to keep you cool, and the perfect amount of room to include all your custom logos and graphics. Available in two shapes round or octagonal and two sizes 6.5′ and the 9′ dome, printing options include:

If Cupid hasn’t tapped you on the shoulder yet and reminded you that love was in the air, then one trip to Wal-Mart, Target, or the local mall should be enough to get the point across that Valentine’s Day is just 14 days away. The most romantic day of the year is also one of the most profitable for the millions of retailers that make their living serving up chocolate hearts, romantic cards, and outlandish bouquets of flowers. If you are a wedding planner, photographer, caterer, dress designer, or decorator Valentine ‘s Day is the start of the busy season as eager brides all across the country race at hyper speed to plan the perfect wedding. Creating Repeat Customers

Monday, November 29th, 2010

You’ve invested in the best looking high tech multi colored showroom you could find. You hired a quality staff that knows your product from top to bottom. Everywhere they turn consumers are hit in the face with your custom logo. High quality audio/video display….got it! Shelves full of merchandise ready to be purchased….done! The red carpet laid out to greet new visitors….complete. You’ve done all your research and feel that everything is in place to guarantee a steady flow of customers. Yet for some reason the doors only swing open a few times a day and never with a familiar face. While everything may look perfect inside the store, you’ve failed to do one thing and that’s build a relationship with your target market. We all know customers can be fickle sometimes and figuring out what makes them spend their hard earned cash is far from an exact science, but one thing is sure and that’s people are creatures of habit. It may be hard to get them to visit for the first time, but if you play your cards right it hopefully won’t be the last time.

3 Tips To Getting Repeat Customers

Freebies/Discounts- One sure fire way to get people walking back through the door is to give them something of value that they can’t get anywhere else. Whether it’s a sample booth out front of the store offering free samples of your newest product, an extra 10% off their next purchase, the choice is yours as long as it leaves the customer feeling as if they got an inside deal that not everyone else can get.

Connecting To The Community- Another way to ensure return visits is to establish yourself in the community. Sponsor a charity drive, host a car wash for the local high school, the trick is to show that you care about those in your community by doing something that gives back to it.

Social Networking- Getting in touch with your target market where they spend most of their time is always a good idea. By creating a Facebook page and twitter feed for your store, you have the ability to connect not only with past customers but with their friends. The more they begin to read or take notice of your posts the more they will view you as a trusted source.

How To Get That Showroom Experience!

Monday, August 30th, 2010

You walk in and the greeter at the entrance thanks you for stopping by. She offers to show you around, but you tell her you’re just browsing. There’s a bit of music playing in the background and some outside noise filtering in as you look through the various racks and shelves. After finding a few items you like, the cashier smiles then reminds you to leave your contact info on the way out in order to receive special offers in the weeks and months to come. As you head for the exit, you thank the greeter and comment on how nice the experience was before rejoining the crowd outside. This scenario happens every day at millions of retail and outlet stores all over the world, but what makes this experience different is that instead of a shopping mall it’s happening at a convention center during a trade show.

Bringing that showroom experience to a trade show is easy once you have the tools to make it happen. Complete with shelving and easy to assemble hanging racks, the expert staff at Godfrey knows just what it takes to create a professional showroom.  Featuring a wide variety of showcases, counter tops, video displays, custom flooring, and fixtures the showroom experience wouldn’t be complete without your custom logo and company name emblazoned all around.

If you’re a trade show vendor who is looking for something unique that is sure to separate your company from your competitors, what better way to achieve this than by designing a display that essentially makes visitors forget that they are at a trade show and instead are visiting one of your new custom built locations.

How About A Tradeshow Tailgate Party?

Monday, August 16th, 2010

The first official day of college football is less than a month away and where I’m from that means tailgate season is upon us. In the south college football doesn’t just last 5-6 months of the year, in Alabama it’s a 365 day discussion that never stops. On any given Saturday from September through the first of January malls are deserted, parks are left abandoned and empty, and the only people on the streets are those trying desperately to get home in time to catch the second half. If you’re a retailer or any type of event planner than the only way you can guarantee that people will show is the promise that they won’t have to miss the big game. I’ve been to both weddings and funerals where somewhere tucked in the corner of a room you could find a dozen men and women alike applauding a completed touchdown pass.

If you’re a trade show vendor and you know that your target market is full of die-hard football fanatics, then one sure fire way to get them to show up in droves is to contact them in advance and promise them a tailgate party with all the fix’ins. In order to throw a successful tailgate party the most important thing you need to focus on is atmosphere. With a few clicks of a button you can be on your way to creating a Grand Fabric structure that resembles a football stadium with your company’s logo emblazoned all around. The next thing you need is food. Think hot-wings, burgers, hot-dogs, and tons of potato chips complete with enough soda to drown an elephant. For special VIP customers throw a juicy steak on your portable grill and serve it all under the appropriately named Mushroom Kiosk that will give you plenty of counter space.

Now all you got to do give the people what they came to see and that’s the game itself. The Truss Me system with its monitor mount option and a dependable WiFi connection will give you the ability to blast the game all across the conference room floor. Throw a literature stand in the mix so everyone has a chance to learn about who sponsored the awesome party, a pedestal for all to leave their contact info, and what you have is tailgate party that gets the people out of their recliners and into your custom built trade show exhibit!!

Table Topper Trade Show Stopper

Monday, August 9th, 2010

We talk a lot here about grand exhibits, large fabric walls, and eco-friendly displays, but not all trade show displays are what they seem. In fact you might be surprised at what can be accomplished with the use of a simple folding table. Whether you bring your own or rely on the event organizer to provide one, a folding table combined with a few simple touches from Godfrey might just be the thing you’ve been looking for to turn you next show into something special.

The first thing you need to do is answer the question, when is a folding table not a folding table? Have you seen one these tables after they’ve been shipped, stored, and slid all over the place? They are dirty. They quickly start to show every dent, ding, and scuff. Soon they become so unappealing that you just can’t be expected to give a worthwhile presentation. Not to mention they limit your display space and feature nothing in the realm of customized graphics. So when is a folding table not a folding table? When it’s covered up by a brightly colored table throw. Covering all sides of the table and featuring a customized logo made to your specifications, a wrinkle-resistant table throw covers all those unpleasant looking blemishes and gives your table a professional appearance.

As great as a table throw can be though, it’s basically just the foundation for what could be an even greater sales experience. What you need next is a structure that easily folds out, provides tons of shelf space, and literally takes that Plain Jane table to the next level. One great thing about table top displays are that there are a ton of different styles to choose from. From the simple fold out variety, to the Space Station Popup, to the Roll N’ Go, to the Brief Case style; table top displays are portable, light weight, fully customizable, and are sure to give you a show room quality display perfect for large events or one-on-one customer meetings.

The next time you are looking for a quick and easy display that is full of options and can be customized to feature your company logo, remember that simple folding table and just what can be accomplished with a bit of creativity.

Avoid Getting Lost In A Sea Of Exhibits

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

When getting ready for a trade show there are a ton of things you can do in advance to make sure that you have a successful event. Of course you can make sure you have the best custom exhibit possible. You can find out who’s going to be there and what they will be interested is seeing. You can make sure who you have working the booth is up on all the facts and are able to answer any questions about your product that may arise. You can even create an elaborate demonstration of how your product works. The one thing you can’t control though is where you are located once you get to the conference center. Yes you can suggest or recommend to the event organizer where you would like to be, but ultimately it’s their decision as to where you are to setup and unfortunately not everyone can have the best seat in the house. So what do you do when you get to a trade show only to find that your setup location is far less than desirable?

Take a walk. After you have everything setup and ready to go, leave the display with your help for a while and start shaking hands. Make sure you are wearing something that contains your brand name. If you know somebody there stop by and say hello. Tell them where you are and ask them to send people your way. Just by walking around and greeting as many people as possible you are creating buzz for your display.

Make people look for you. If you didn’t bring any with you, draw up a few signs on poster board advertising that you are there and where you can be found. If you own a truck or van with your name and logo on it, make sure you park it near the main entrance where people can see it as they enter the building.

Speak to the organizer. You make think they understand what you need, but in fact the organizer of the event may not have any idea that they have setup up somewhere that is unfavorable. While you are out meeting and greeting scout out a couple new locations and don’t be afraid to approach the person in charge with your ideas about where you might be best suited. The thing here to remember is that those hosting the event get a percentage of all sales, therefore the more people walking past your display means higher sales for you and a higher profit for them.

You have the most best custom display in the world but when it comes to being put in a bad location with zero traffic, you have to take matters in your own hands and make the people come to you. By making your presence known among the visitors, asking for a few favors from friends who might be able to send people your way, putting up some extra signage, and reminding the host of the event that you are there to make them money, you just might be able to turn a bad spot into a great opportunity.

We’ve Got What You Need For Your Next Tent Event!!!!

Monday, July 26th, 2010

If you are one of millions that work for or own an auto-dealership than to say that the recent economic crisis has been tough may just be one of the biggest understatements you’ve heard in quite some time. If the money troubles faced by Ford, GM, and Chrysler didn’t hit you hard, then the total collapse of consumer confidence in Toyota due to all the safety recalls was surely the last straw.  Let’s face it everyone has had it rough recently and while dealerships are struggling to find customers, those customers are struggling to earn enough to get by themselves; still though one rule will always hold true: sooner or later everyone will need to buy a car. All across the country prices are coming down and rebates are going up as dealerships try their best to get America buying cars once again. One way this is being done is by going back to basics and re-establishing those core relationships with customers. I think maybe Godfrey can help with this thanks to a couple unique items that are sure to turn that empty lot into a crowded hot spot.

People love to eat and there’s nothing they like better to eat than free food. Hot dogs are cheap, bottle water is always a favorite…why not host a cookout and I bet you can guess that we’ve got the perfect thing to host it under. I’m not talking about just some ordinary pop-up tent, what you need is a tent cluster!!! Not just made of up one single tent, a tent cluster is actually four tents with a large outdoor umbrella in the center. Inside what you will find is a large circular kiosk perfect for serving for pitching hogs dogs and great deals out to the waiting public. All covered with your custom logo of course!

Once you have your tent city in place, you need something to get them off the street and into the lot. You need something just as big and dramatic as those rebates and low prices. This is where Godfrey comes through again with a custom designed inflatable prop. Is it tailgating season? Why not a giant goalpost. Would you like those driving by to know that all you really want to do is help them get that giant monkey off their back so they can stop worrying about when their car is going to breakdown? How about a giant gorilla! The list of designs that Godfrey can create especially for you goes on and on.

Now more than ever paychecks are hard to come by and because of this, consumers are being extremely selective when it comes to letting go of hard earned cash. Before they spend a dime they are doing their research, making sure they know exactly what they need, and are going the extra mile to get the best deal. Likewise dealerships need to remind the public they are there to help the consumer by providing them with a quality vehicle and top of the line customer service. If you are one of these struggling dealerships check out all the great outdoor props, signs, and tents and let Godfrey help you make your next sales event a guaranteed success.
